Purchasing a P.C

Purchasing a P.C

A friend has approached me for advice on purchasing a P.C to work from home. I will now set a computer up that will meet all his needs.

I have chosen this computer as it is only £419.99 for such a good make. This HP computer has a 22” monitor which means it will be a good big bigger and easier to do work on. The computer has an Intel Core Processor, the memory on the computer is 6GB and the hard drive also has 1TB of memory. This computer is also very up to date as it has windows 8 on it. I think this computer will be a good purchase for you when it has everything else on it that you need and is up and running.

The printer I have chosen is a Kodak Hero 6.1 all in one wireless inkjet printer. This printer can print, copy, scan and fax. The printer also comes with a black and colour ink cartridge but when they are done Kodak cartridges are one of the cheapest to replace. I have chosen this printer for you as you said you like to take lots of pictures and transfer them to the P.C to print them. Kodak is an excellent printer for printing pictures as you can buy the photo paper for quite cheap.

This external hard drive as it is 4TB and is only £149.99. I have chosen this one for you as you have said you like to take lots of large video files and transfer them to your computer, now you are able to store them all on this as 4TB is a lot of memory.

I have chosen this camera as I have read over the description on it and also read the reviews that other were given. The camera seems to suit the needs of the user as they like taking pictures it has an excellent zoom, its HD and it only costs £99.00. You can also buy a memory card starting from 1GB up to 8GB depending on how many photos you are going to take.

I have chosen this BT Internet package as it seems best for what the user is going to do. The package offers you unlimited internet usage, your going to have 76MB of speed which is the highest speed you can get from BT. The package only costs £0 for the first 3 months and costs £26 after that.

I have chosen Microsoft Office Professional 2010 as the user was looking to have use of Excel and Access. This package although it is dear as it is £335.80 it offers everything out to you as it has Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and access. This is going to give the user a wide range of different files to use.

The games below that i have chosen are for the reson that I though they are going to be useful and educational. They also don't cost to much.
